Hi, I’m Ella Wu, an AHPRA-registered occupational therapist with a Master of Occupational Therapy and a background in psychology. I support children and families in community and home settings.
My practice is grounded in strengths-based, family-centred, and neuro-affirming care. I value warmth, emotional safety, and respectful relationships, and aim to provide individualised, child-led support that is responsive to each child’s strengths, needs, and everyday contexts.
Before training as an occupational therapist, I worked as a teacher, which continues to inform my understanding of learning environments, school systems, and the importance of collaboration with families and educators. I have experience supporting children with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural needs across home, school, and community settings.
I am committed to reflective, evidence-informed practice and to creating therapy spaces where children and families feel understood, supported, and empowered over time. I work with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
